From:

Good day MuckRock News, Attn: Samuel Sinyangwe,

We are in receipt of your PRA request dated July 18, 2019 and received July 22, 2019.
We are in the process of obtaining data responsive to your request.
On August 2, 2019 we received a follow-up letter requesting the status of a July 16,2019 request.
We do not have a request from you dated July 16, 2019.
We do acknowledge the July 18, 2019 request which is requesting the same info noted on your follow up letter.

We are advising the need for an extension per GC 6253 (c) as voluminous records need to be searched for years 2017 and 2018 and we need time to compile the data accordingly.

You can expect a response on or before August 17, 2019.

Please advise if this is acceptable.

Thank you in advance,

Hi Muckrock,

Thank you for following up with me. IWould you allow for a Friday response? I hit an unexpected delay. I received the data and need an extension to review, because the last person who assisted you with this same type of request dated March 5, 2019 from Muckrock is out on an extended leave and the information I received is in a completely different format, so I am sorting through it.

Thank you for understanding.

Respectfully,

Hi Samuel,

Thank you for your follow up and your patience! I am so sorry, I have not been able to complete as I said I am covering still for an employee on an extended leave, and the workload has grown. Your request is back to the top of the list. Would you be able to allow a small extension so I can have just a couple more days to review and vet out the material? Would 9/19 be acceptable to you?

Please let me know- Respectfully,

Hi Muckrock,

Thank you so much for your patience as we work through your request.

I do plan to provide a formal letter with a complete response, but wanted to communicate what I have completed, thus far and provide a rolling release of information.

1. 33, and break down is being extrapolated as you have requested further per UOF

2. 2 Complaints by civilians

3. 0, sustained

4. I have the results for both years of MACR data and we are completing the formulas on the spreadsheets to provide you the age as you have requested. This is not something we calculate, rather we records DOB. Furthermore, MACR is recorded by codes. Are you familiar with the coding or do you need a legend provided?

You can expect this finalized by weeks end, October 4, 2019 at the latest.

Kindly,

Tiffany Campbell
