Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. The number of use of force incidents by type of force used in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.
2. The number of use of force complaints in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.
3. The number of use of force complaints sustained in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017, separated by year.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you for your public record request regarding use of force statistics for the City of Cincinnati. Please visit our Open Data Portal at https://data.cincinnati-oh.gov/Safer-Streets/PDI-Police-Data-Initiative-Use-of-Force/8us8-wi2w/data to obtain those statistics. Once you view the dataset of your choice, there is an option to "export" the data and download it into an Excel spreadsheet and from there you can filter out the information that you are specifically looking for. We will send you the additional records once we receive them.
