Pursuant to the Ohio Open Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all incident reports (including descriptions of the crime) that have been marked or investigated as potential hate crimes motivated by anti-black bias since Jan. 1, 2016. Police reports refer to reports produced with notes and narratives, and a description of what happened by the responding officer. This request is made as part of the Documenting Hate Project, a collaboration involving dozens of news organizations, led by ProPublica. Coverage from the project is compiled at https://projects.propublica.org/graphics/hatecrimes#hatecrime-coverage.
