Emails that this department has provided in response to a previous records request indicates that Chula Vista works very closely with Skydio on media requests. Aircover PR is Skydio's public relations firm.
Therefore, I hereby request the following records:
1) All emails or communications between members of this department and Skydio that mention or relate to VICE Media, Motherboard, Jason Koebler, or Matthew Gault. Please search between June 1, 2021 and the time this request is processed.
2) All emails or communications between members of this department and Aircover PR (domain: "@aircoverpr.com")
3) All emails or communications internal to the Chula Vista police department relating to a request for comment made by Matthew Gault on Monday, June 28, 2021 or relating to follow-up requests from Matthew Gault.
Please try to include any other miscellaneous documents that facilitate this police department's relationship with Skydio that don't neatly fall neatly into the above categories.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. It will be used in the course of reporting for Motherboard, VICE’s science and technology website (www.motherboard.vice.com).
