Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. Log of all drone flights conducted in 2018-2019.
2. All drone flight reports for 2018-2019.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

We have received your PRA request. Please be advised, your request requires the need to search for and appropriately examine a number of separate and distinct records; therefore, pursuant to the provision of Government Code Section 6253(c), the Police Department is asserting its authority to extend the time to reply. This assertion of the Department's authority to extend the time to reply shall not serve as a waiver of any privileges or exemptions to disclose pursuant to applicable provisions of the CPRA and any other applicable statutory and/or case law authority.
