Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

List, with descriptions, of all FOIA requests that have been submitted for FY2020.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Please note that I am a citizen of Virginia, and am using MuckRock's services to help manage and track my request.

Hi Mr. Nash,

Attached please find the FOIA log. Please note that this log only contains information on requests that pass through my office; other departments sometimes provide documents to walk-ins or individuals who call in or email them directly for help, and I may not be aware of those requests.

This log also does not contain FOIA requests made to the Christiansburg Police Department, as Maj. Chris Ramsey is the FOIA officer for that department. There may be a few CPD-related requests on here, if I was involved in the request.

In the future, could you please email your FOIA requests directly to me or copy me on your requests? That way our Town Manager doesn't have to forward them along.
