Greetings. This is in reference to request # P804989-121222.

IL FOIA requires response within 5 business days, and I understand CPD is in the habit of demanding an additional 5 business days for most cases. (That typically must happen within the first 5, to comply with the statute.) Judging by this 10-business-day timeline, and allowing for an "observed" holiday for Christmas, that deadline became December 27. Treating today as New Years Day (observed) and assuming you get this Jan 3, today is the fourth business day after this deadline.

Please update me on the status of the request. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Brandon Smith

Greetings.

I'm checking now on this request, currently on the 28th business day (including accounting for the three holidays) after it's filing. You did not request a second period of five business days, which means the request has technically overstepped IL FOIA law by 23 business days, or more than four times the length of the original time allotted by law.

Do you have an estimated delivery of the documents (footage)?

Thank you,
Brandon Smith
