Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

The Chicago agencies - including, but not limited to, the Chicago Police Department - have used Face/facial recognition technology since 2013, as quoted by Alderman Ed Burke in R2018-839 of the Chicago Finance Committee notes through a vendor named Neoface. (https://www.nec.com/en/global/solutions/safety/face_recognition/NeoFaceWatch.html) I am seeking the following documents pertaining to this partnership:

-Contracts, manuals, or signed agreements between OEMC and NEC for Neoface
-Any policies or internal standard operating procedures pertaining to the use of Neoface
-Any e-mail communications pertaining to the acquisition and use of this technology between OEMC and NEC for Neoface
-Any memos, field notes, or other written documents pertaining to the usage of this technology in the field

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
