To whom it may concern,

This is an appeal under the Freedom of Information Act.

On April 26, 2018, I requested documents under the Freedom of Information Act. My request was assigned the following identification number: P446995. On May 1, 2018, I received a response to my request in a letter signed by FOIA Officer Landon Karr, Chicago Department of Police. I appeal the "no responsive records" result of my request. A copy of my FOIA request and the agency determination which is the subject of this appeal is attached for your convenience.

Dear Mr. Ader:

Our office is in receipt of your attached Request for Review. Your submission is incomplete, however. Section 9.5(a) of FOIA requires a Request for Review to be signed by the requester and your Request for Review does not contain your signature (it appears that the FOIA request has a signature but your Request for Review does not). Please resend your Request for Review with your signature. A typed signature is sufficient. Thank you.

Very truly yours,
