Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
Over the weekend, the Chicago Police Department, on its official twitter page @Chicago_Police posted the names of several individuals arrested during a protest on August 15th, 2020. The department has since deleted several tweets. Therefore, I am searching for:
- Communication between the social media team that runs CPD's twitter page and its public information unit about the posting of the August 15th arrest information.
- Any communication between the social media team and the public information unit about deleting the tweets.
At minimum, search for communications in the posession of PO Amber Kandel, Stg Lori Cooper, Sgt Anthony Dombrowski, and PO Maria Bucio.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
