The Chicago Police Department is in receipt of your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. On August 14, 2020, the following request was received. Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

Your request was reviewed by CPD and a thorough, diligent search of records was conducted utilizing the provided search parameters. As permitted by 5 ILCS 140/3(e), the time was extended in order to conduct a thorough search for these records. Your request was reviewed by the undersigned and was interpreted as seeking responsive: comprehensive telephone and email directory information for Cook County employees/staff members, including additional detailed information for each employee/staff individual within  Cook County Jail. Be advised that after careful review and a cursory search, CPD is unable to fulfill your request. Please see below for an explanation.
Be advised that based on the search parameters of the request provided, the Chicago Police Department has no responsive record. Be advised that each government agency is a separate entity responsible for maintaining its own records.  CPD is not the regular holder of records for the Cook County Jail system. Requests should be submitted to the government agency that maintains the records you seek. The records, if available, are not maintained by the Chicago Police Department.
