Requesting all text messages between Board Vice President Todd-Breland and the following individuals, for the timeframe July 18, 2021 2023 through July 21, 2023:

Mayor Brandon Johnson

Please note: This seeks texts she sent to Mayor Johnson, any texts Mayor Johnson sent her, and any group chat texts including Todd-Breland and the mayor. This also includes any messages sent through WhatsApp, Signal, or any other text messaging apps.

Also note: This request seeks texts sent and received by the Board Member whether they were sent on personal or CPS-issued cellphones or any other device.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) responds to all public records requests in accordance with the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 ILCS 140/1 et seq.
If further time is needed to assemble and copy all documents responsive to your FOIA request, we will contact you with a time estimate and a request to extend.
