Amazon HQ2 Processing Notes

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting any and all processing notes related to any FOIA requests your office might have received for the Amazon HQ2.

At minimum, provide:
- The names (if known) of any requestors
- The outcome of the request, if know.
- If documents where produced, a copy of the production documents.

All emails and texts sent by, received by or copied on the following individuals’ accounts Mayor Rahm Emanuel, Robert Rivkin, Adam Collins, Aarti Kotak, Danielle DuMerer, Farzin Parang, David Reifman and Andrea Zopp – between Sep. 7, 2015 and the present that contain any form of the following terms: “FOIA”, “Bezos”, “HQ2”, “Jamie” , "litigation", "lawsuit" and “Gorelick." I am requesting not only the emails and texts contained on government or publicly funded accounts but also any private or personally funded line or device in which such public business was discussed. This request also includes lines or devices assigned to or owned by other city staff employees, if used by any of the individuals mentioned above.

Please also search the emails and accounts of the Public Information Officers who received and processed FOIAs with the same keywords.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
