Hi Matt,
I am working with the Data Fulfillment and Analysis Section on your request. They have informed me of the following:
DFA can only provide CPD service call data. Additionally, dispatcher information and POD numbers are not provided. Arrest data is not maintained with calls data and can also not be provided.

Fulfilling this request would take an exceptionally large number of records. Just calls for service data for eight years (which DFA has provided to lesser extents in the past) is around 60 million records. Including responding officers would likely more than double this number. Just for this year to date, the request would generate around 4,463,013 rows. This would be difficult to provide. Can the requestor narrow the timeframe?
Please let me know.
Thank you,
Audrey

Hi Audrey,

Please narrow the request down to 2020. I realize that the request might be difficult to do, though I know that similar requests have been done in the past by the folk at https://chicagojustice.org/, so I know this request (or something similar) should be possible.

Thanks -
Matt Chapman

Hi Matt,
I have been teleworking until today and just saw that you mailed a response to the burdensome response. Did you by chance submit a new request for the data? Also, I am curious as to why this was sent by mail rather than by email?
Thanks,
Audrey
