From: Mike Davis

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to Tennessee's Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

It is public knowledge (as well as documented in taser documentation) that each taser holds the records of the "last 1500" (https://help.axon.com/hc/en-us/articles/226849968-Trilogy-logs-overview).

This FOIA request is for the taser logs of any officer on duty who had contact with Jordan Norris (or the three officers featured in the security camera footage posted here: http://www.newschannel5.com/news/newschannel-5-investigates/restrained-man-repeatedly-tased-according-to-lawsuit if no other record of involved officers exist.

I'm making this request as a Tennessee resident, and have included my Tennessee state ID as proof of residency.

This request is not for any personally identifiable records, only records of weapons use by officers which are clearly public record and this request is is for the full log, not an excerpt.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Carleton Purvis

I am writing you in regards to your request to retrieve public records from our office. I am needing to know exactly what your looking for, thanks

From: Mike Davis

Sure thing, I am aware of how the Taser body camera systems work, both evidence.com and dock based systems, I'm simply looking for the audit logs of the tasers from the officers involved in the incident. This should include timestamps and locations and other basic statistical information regarding sync session such as the number of videos synced or deleted.

Please let me know if theres anything else i can do to clarify and much thanks!
