Pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all fields of data collected in all structured data systems (database, spreadsheet, other unknown format) used by the city of Charlottesville to track and/or log Freedom of Information Act requests.
This request is only seeking the fields of data tracked (For example: date request was submitted, requester name, request number, estimated fee, whether the request was approved/denied, etc.. These are only examples, and may not be indicative of any of the fields of data actually tracked, but represent common fields of data tracked in other jurisdictions.)
This request also is only specifically requesting the fields of data, not any of the actual data tracked.
In the event that there are separate, unique structured data systems used by different city employees to track and/or or log Freedom of Information Act requests, please include all fields separately for each unique structured data system. (For example: If one PIO tracks using a database and another uses a spreadsheet, this request is seeking information related to both structured data systems independently.)
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
