To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the South Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
-All civilian complains filed with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office from the years 2013-2018.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 15 business days, as the statute requires.

Good morning.
I have not heard back in regards to clarifying the information requested on this FOIA request. So that I may assist you as efficiently as possible, please clarify what complaints you are requesting. If this is complaints on deputies, please let me know as complaints in general for this large time frame could be in the several thousands. Our agency employs over 800 to include, but not limited to, crossing guards, detention, school resource deputies, etc., and we cover almost 1,000 square miles. Please clarify your complaint so that I can assist you.
