RE: ACCESS TO PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST

Dear Mr. Neiss:

The City of Central Falls received your request for copies of certain public records on October 23, 2019. Due to the extensive amount of research pertaining to your request, the City has good cause to extend the ten (10) day time period by an additional twenty (20) days. Please note this is not denial of your request to review the requested documentation. Thank you for your time and cooperation.

Very truly yours,

Lisa Dias, on behalf of

Matthew Jerzyk,

Dear Mr. Jerzyk,

Thank you for this response.

As you are no doubt aware ยง 38-2-3(e) requires that requests to extend the release of responsive information for additional time must be particularized to the specific request made,

The department has already completed a search for these documents from an August 16, 2019 request, and found that it does in fact possess records that are responsive to the request. At the time those records were not released due to the investigation of the State Attorney General into the matter which has since been completed.

In the event that any of the responsive records are excluded by subdivision 38-2-2(4) I must insist that any reasonably segregable portion be released.

I look forward to seeing these responsive documents shortly.

Best Regards,
Russel Neiss

.
