Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
-The most current policies and procedures related to and/or outlining the department’s response to accusations of domestic violence made against employees of the police department
-All Internal affairs reports/investigations into police officers that include allegations of domestic violence produced between Jan. 1, 2013 and June 4, 2018.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

I sent a response on 08/15/2018 but will see if I can find it and resend. We have been having problems with our email and it may not have sent, even though it didn't send a rejected message.

I am sorry I can't find my response to you earlier in the month.
In case of domestic violence accusations made against an employee the Georgia law would be followed. No other policies or procedures written on this.
There have been no reports/investigations on Carroll County Sheriff's Office employees during the time period requested.
