To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Database(s) pertaining to all 911 calls made in the past 5 years from 2014-current (the most recent data you have). The data should include the time of the 911 call, the nature of the incident (domestic violence, robbery, etc.), the police officers' response time, the geographic location being dispatched to and any other relevant fields you have already collected.

I would like electronic copies of the above raw data in a machine readable format such as CSV, XLSX, or TXT, not as a PDF. Also, if any written documentation is needed to understand the data, please send me that information as well.

If you believe this request does not fit within the definition of public records under NCGS 132, please cite a specific exemption.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Sincerely,

Rachel Crumpler
