Pursuant to the state Freedom of Information Act, G.L.M. c.4, €7, clause 26th, I hereby request the following records: A copy of the Cambridge's Public Schools annual salaries, including benefits, by position, for the year 2009. We do not require names attached to the salary information, but just the titles.
I agree to pay reasonable search and duplication fees for the processing of this request in an amount not to exceed $5.
In the event that fees do exceed $5, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, via e-mail attachment or CD-ROM.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

I received this request for information on Monday. I am writing to let you know that the information that you have requested, annual salaries for each person by position for FY2009, is available on the Cambridge Public School's website: www.cpsd.us
This information is included in the FY 2008-2009 Budget, which is available on-line. Budget information can be found in the Chief Financial Officer's webpage (Administrative Departments>Chief Financial Officer>Financial Operations-Budget). I
have provided a link below that you may copy to your browser that should get you to the information that you are interested in. The document (a PDF) is called Salary Detail by AU.

This document will provide a list of school district employees with position titles and salary. The sort is by Accountable Unit (i.e. School or Department). In order to add the cost of benefits to salary, you should add 28.8% of salary for any
position that is .67 FTE or greater. Benefits include Health, Dental, Pension and Medicare.
If you would prefer that we take this report and add a column in order to calculate benefits for you, there will be a charge equal to the amount of time it takes one of my budget analysts to do this work. Please let me know if you would like me to
provide you with such a report.
