Pursuant to the California's Sunshine Amendment (Cal. Const. Art. I, § 3(b)), I hereby request the following records:
Copies of all of the RSI Petroleum bills from January 2013 to present.
I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and for journalistic purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

There are approximately 239 invoices paid to RSI from Jan 1 to Oct 13th. Unfortunately I am unable to waive the fee. The estimated cost for this request is $60.00.Also these invoices are not electronically scanned in and they will have to be manually copied. Estimated time to complete will be 7 working days. We have a very limited staff, but will complete as soon as we are able.

I have found through my research for RSI invoices I have found that multiple invoices were paid on the majority of each check. There for my original estimate was not accurate and will indeed increase with this new found information. We are currently at 331 pages with three months outstanding. I will advise as soon as I have a completed number. I wanted you to be aware of the increase amount of invoices located.
You could at your option email scanned images of the requested documents. That would eliminate the need for you to expend time making copies.
Copies have already been made for your request. There is a total of 421 documents that were copied. At .25 per page the total fee for this request is $105.25. Postage to mail out your request is $18.70. Total due is $ 123.95, payable to the City of California City, attention D. Hilliker. Please remit at your convenience, as I will mail out documents once fee is received.
