This is to acknowledge your Public Records Act request, received March 15, 2016, for written materials and testimony provided by named individuals to the Board of Regents' Working Group on Principles of Intolerance on or about December 1, 2015. Appropriate UC Office of the President offices are being notified of your request. Records identified as responsive to your request will be reviewed, and made available for your access, in accordance with relevant law and University policy. The estimated date of production is eight weeks, which will vary accordingly due to the nature, complexity, and/or length of the request.
Although the requested records have not yet been fully gathered and reviewed, it is possible that the requested material may contain information exempt from disclosure pursuant to the Public Records Act. However, this is not a determination that the requested records are necessarily exempt from disclosure. This office will provide you with a status update after the requested records have been thoroughly reviewed.
For your information, the California Public Records Act allows agencies to make records available "upon payment of fees covering direct costs of duplication." (Government Code Section 6253(b)). The charge is $0.20 per page for copies. Prepayment is required before release of public records. If you prefer, you may inspect the records in person prior to obtaining copies. Inquiries about this PRA request should refer to PRA-16-1572.
