Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) Any documents describing the variables (also known as inputs) incorporated into CDSS' Safe Measures predictive models, such as a predictive model report or variable library.
2) Any differential impact analyses, regression analyses, or validation studies of the Safe Measures predictive models completed by CDSS, another state agency, Evident Change, or any other outside entity.
I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and I intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
