From: Department of Insurance

Thomas,

Our Custodian of Records forwarded your request to me, so I would be aware of your request and that they will respond to you, but I wanted to drop you a note, to help you understand what records we do and do not have here at the department. Insurers are not required to report claims or provide claims data and claims records to the department. The only time department staff come into contact with actual claim records is during a market conduct exam or audit and those examinations are confidential-no records are retained by the department.

If you would like to speak about what it is you are looking for to see if I might help you run down which, if any state department or other source might have it, please give me a call.
