Dear Sovereign Bodies Institute:
The California Highway Patrol (CHP), Office of Community Outreach and Media Relations (COMR) received your California Public Records Act (CPRA) request, dated November 10, 2020, and received by this office on November 11, 2020.
In your request you asked for the following:
* Basic information on all cases (open and closed) of missing American Indian/Alaska Native persons (including juveniles) within California, from 2000 through 2020; this basic information can include but is not limited to: person name, age, DOB, incident date, case closure date, county/jurisdiction in which person was reported missing"
The Department does not have a centralized computer system capable of producing the records you are requesting. To obtain records, the date and location of a specific incident for which the Department has jurisdiction would need to be determined so that any responsive reports could be requested from the appropriate Department area office.
If you have any questions or if you need additional information, please contact this office at (916) 843-3310.
Sincerely,
F. CLADER
