Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code ยงยง 6250), I hereby request the following records:

1. Any and all written communications between Harvey Levin and/or TMZ.com and/or any representatives of either and University of California, Santa Barbara and/or any representatives of UCSB regarding Levin's April 25, 2015 event at the Pollock Theater.

2. Any and all written agreements, including but not limited to contracts, riders, and memoranda or understanding between UCSB and Levin or TMZ created for his event.

That on April 25, 2015 Levin spoke at UCSB's Pollack Theater, through the Carsey-Wolf Center, is published here: http://www.carseywolf.ucsb.edu/pollock/events/conversation-harvey-levin-new-journalistic-environment

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Please consider this email our response to your request for a copy of any contract between Harvey Levin and the University of California Santa Barbara related to the speech on April 25, 2015 at the Carsey-Wolf Center.

I have checked and confirmed with Procurement Services, the Carsey-Wolf Center and the Office of Development for Humanities and Fine Arts that there was no contract with Mr. Levin for this event. Mr. Levin's attendance was the result of a verbal invitation and acceptance. As such, there are no responsive records to your request.
