Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any records pertaining to the "zombie apocalypse" training exercise carried out by the tactical training firm Strategic Operations at the HALO Corporation Counter Terrorism Summit on October 31st, 2012 at Paradise Point Resort island near San Diego. It has been widely reported that a counter-terrorism simulation involving actors dressed as zombies took place with California law enforcement in attendance (https://www.nbcsandiego.com/news/weird/Mock-Zombie-Invasion-Held-in-San-Diego-176483921.html).
Please provide any pictures of the event, documents detailing the schedule of the summit, any reports or write-ups detailing California Highway Patrol participation in the event, and other relevant documents referencing the training.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
