Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

• Any and all policies, procedures, reporting requirements, or any other materials regarding the acquisition, contracting, use, payment of, or implementation of inmate labor at any facility---prison or jail, public or private--within the State of California or under the jurisdiction of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation through the California Prison Industry Authority (including Inmate Day Labor and Fire Camps) program and Joint Venture program (including Free Joint Venture).

• All available inmate labor inventories and all available segregable information, including but not limited to:

- the name of the facility.
- the government agency, industry program, company, or other entity benefiting from or utilizing the labor; if all activities are related to the internal operations of the facility, please indicate for which positions inmate labor is typically utilized.
- the number of employed inmates.
- the industries in which the inmates participate and the count of participant inmates.

• Any and all reports regarding the wages paid or garnished by statute or other policies.

• All California Prison Industry Authority operating and raw material supply procurement contracts; if a comprehensive spreadsheet is available, provision of such will be sufficient.

• All Joint Venture operating and raw material supply procurement contracts; if a spreadsheet is available, provision of such will be sufficient.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Elisa Oceguera

Good Afternoon Ms. Oceguera,

This is not a California Public Records Act request that I have seen before. You stated that this is a follow-up to a previous request and I have no record of such a request from you. You may want to check your records for the individual whom you sent this request to the first time. I have no record of this request.

In the alternative, if you would like to resubmit this request to me I will log it in accordingly once you let me know. If you choose to resubmit I will begin the process and enter this in our public records database using the date I receive the request back from you.

As for the waiver of fees, it is written in the California Public Records Act that we must charge for any and all public records, so I will not be able to waive your fees (if any).

Thank you.
