From: California Secretary of State
Dear Mr. Welsh:
Thank you for contacting the Secretary of State to request a copy of the catalogue of enterprise systems complied by our office to comply with SB 272 of 2015. You have also requested a copy of the Secretary of State's Public Records Act request log for 2018.
California law, including the California Public Records Act, permits the Secretary of State to charge fees for providing copies of its records. The fee is $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each page thereafter. However, we are able to provide the attached electronic document responsive to your request for the PRA log at no charge to you.
As for your request for a catalogue of enterprise systems pursuant to SB 272, this statute (codified in Government Code section 6270.5) applies only to local agencies and does not apply to the Secretary of State. Therefore, we have nothing responsive to this portion of your request.
We hope this information is helpful to you. If you have questions about this or another matter related to the Secretary of State's office, please contact us again.
Sincerely,
Constituent Affairs
Secretary of State
