Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the Attorney General's office's California Public Records Act request logs for calendar year 2018. These logs should include a request date, description of records requested, requester organization (if applicable) and current status of the requests.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

This correspondence is in response to your request dated December 31, 2018, which was received on the same date by the California Department of Justice/Office of the Attorney General (DOJ). You sought records pursuant to the Public Records Act (PRA) as set forth in Government Code section 6250 et seq.

We are attaching .pdf copies of our logs requested between the dates of May 1, 2018 through July 31, 2018. We sent the logs from January 1, 2018 through April 30, 2018 in our first e-mail. We need additional time to generate and redact personal information contained in the PRA database for the remaining time frame denoted in your request. We anticipate reviewing and redacting this data to take a minimum of 12 weeks. The logs will be produced to you as they are completed in a rolling production process.

On January 10, 2019, our office provided our Public Records Act request logs through July 31, 2018. Attached please find our Public Records Act request logs from August 1, 2018, through October 31, 2018. Please note that we have redacted personal information such as home addresses, date of birth, and other identifying information for privacy purposes. We are in the process of generating logs for November 1, 2018, through the date of your request. At this point, we anticipate that this process will take a minimum of 12 weeks to complete. Accordingly, we will produce the November and December logs on a rolling basis, as they are completed.
