Beryl:

Your recent public records request included the following phrase: All statistical information regarding reports of the use of force within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation system from January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2014.

We don't understand what you mean by "statistical information regarding reports." Could you please clarify?

Thank you.

Good Afternoon Ms. Lipton,

I am in receipt of a public records act request which you sent to the Office of Audits and Court Compliance. This request was directed back to our office for processing.

In your request you asked for, "All statistical information regarding reports of the use of force within the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation system from January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2014."
The Office of the Inspector General posts reports semi-annually on their website http://www.oig.ca.gov/pages/reports.php#<http://www.oig.ca.gov/pages/reports.php>
These reports monitor the use-of-force reviews within the department among other issues. Please look at this website and let me know if the information in these reports fulfills your request. If I do not hear back from you in the next ten days I will close this request.

Thank you.
