Oaths of Office are filed with the Secretary of State for specified public officials pursuant to Government Code section 1363. The maintenance of these filings is a manual process for these paper documents that are filed and indexed alphabetically by name of public official. This office does not maintain a master list or electronic list of all Oaths of Office on file; therefore, we do not have any records responsive to your request. If you are looking for the oath for a specific public official, please provide the name of the official and we will perform a search of our records and provide a page count and copy fee total for the requested records
The California Public Records Act permits the Secretary of State to collect statutory fees for the cost of producing copies of its records, which must be remitted at the time the records are requested. The statutory fees for reproduction of plain copies are $1.00 for the first page, and $0.50 for each additional page, per record. The statutory fees for reproduction of certified copies are $5.00 for the certification fee, $1.00 for the first page, and $0.50 for each additional page, per record.
