From: Buffalo Police Department
Good Morning
The City of Buffalo Police Department is in receipt of your Freedom of
Information Law request. Please allow this email to serve as an
acknowledgment of your request pursuant to New York State Public Officer’s
Law, Section 89, entitled Freedom of Information Law. Be advised that the
only information I have pertaining to body worn cameras is the intial draft
policy. BPD has not confirmed the company they will be using for the body
worn cameras. Additionally, BPD has not yet established a draft policy in
regards to Tasers. I believe Tasers are in the future but nothing in the
works at the moment.
