Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

As is my right per 1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933, I hereby request the following records:

1. A copy of the most recent collective bargaining agreement/collective agreement between this department and the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association (web site: http://buffalopba.com/ )
2. A copy of any memorandums of understanding clarifying parts of the agreement
3. A copy of any addendums made to the agreement after its initial implementation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Hello,

Thank you for providing the union contract and associated contract bylaws. However, I notice that the contract's last addendum is from the year 2005 for both documents. This does not seem include the most recently effected contract.

Please supply the currently in-effect union agreement and bylaws. If there is any reason this contract cannot be disclosed, please supply the full and complete language of the bylaw or rules that prevent its publication under the Freedom of Information Act.

The City of Buffalo Police Department (BPD) is in receipt of your Freedom
of Information Law request. Please allow this letter to serve as an
acknowledgment of your request pursuant to New York State Public Officer’s
Law, Section 89, entitled Freedom of Information Law.

The BPD has researched your request for information pertaining to PBA
Contract. Your request resulted in the updates that have been made to the
contract everything else has stayed the same. Please be advised I am unable
to see what has been sent by the way your requests are submitted. If you
have any other requests or if this is not what you are looking for please
email me back and let me know. Going forward any redacted and/or copied
paperwork totaling over 5 pages will be charged $0.25 per page.
