Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
1. A copy of any records generated or received pursuant to any policy concerning challenges to curricular, instructional, or library materials. This request is limited to records generated as a result of any complaint or challenge initiated on or after May 1, 2022.
2. Any correspondence or communication sent or received on or after May 1, 2022 by any member of the Hernando County School Board, Superintendent John Stratton, or any person reporting directly to Superintendent John Stratton, which mentions any of the following books: Tricks by Ellen Hopkins, All Boys Aren't Blue by George M. Johnson, The GayBCs by M. L. Webb, or Lucky by Marissa Stapley.
3. Any correspondence or communication sent or received on or after May 1, 2022 by any member of the Hernando County School Board, Superintendent John Stratton, or any person reporting directly to Superintendent John Stratton, which mentions Monty Floyd or videos posted to his YouTube channel, found here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjNnSizE88tyZ74xu7jxuAw/videos.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
