To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
(1) Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, any and all records concerning hearings regarding the dismissal of any police chief conducted pursuant to Connecticut General Statutes, 7-278 since October 1, 1983.
(2) Pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, any and all agreements and/or contracts regarding the employment of any police chief since October 1, 1983.
I also request that, if possible and pursuant to Conn. Gen. Stat. ยง 1-212(d), fees be waived as I believe this request is in the public interest and not made for commercial gain. The requested documents will be processed by a representative of the news media/press and made available to the public at MuckRock.com.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 4 business days, as the statute requires.

Attached please find copies of Police Chief contracts responsive to your FOI request. Finding documents for a time frame from 1983-2021 is time consuming and difficult. There may be additional contracts located in the paper archives, that may take a while to locate. Please confirm if you are still interested in copies, if available. The town does not have any records responsive to item (1) of your request.
