From: Shawn Musgrave

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Massachusetts Public Records Law, M.G.L. c.66, ยง10, I hereby request the following records:

A spreadsheet, database or other inventory of all units within the BHA system, including public, subsidized and Section 8 units.

Basic information about management offices for each development is available on the BHA website, but I am requesting at minimum addresses for all units, as well as category of the unit (public, Section 8, subsidized, etc).

I also request that, if appropriate, fees be waived as we believe this request is in the public interest, as suggested but not stipulated by the recommendations of the Massachusetts Supervisor of Public Records. The requested documents will be made available to the general public free of charge as part of the public information service at MuckRock.com, processed by a representative of the news media/press and is made in the process of news gathering and not for commercial usage.

I expect the request to be filled in an accessible format, including for screen readers, which provide text-to-speech for persons unable to read print. Files that are not accessible to screen readers include, for example, .pdf image files as well as physical documents.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Shawn Musgrave

Apologies -- I meant to include that I am requesting an inventory for all units within BHA for the years 2011 through 2014, if possible.

Happy to clarify if any of the above is not clear.

Dear Mr. Musgrave,

Attached is the BHA's public housing street listing and the letter I mailed to you last week regarding your request. As for the Section 8 aspect of your request, I still need to talk with our Section 8 attorney, she was out of the office last week, and will get back to you soon regarding that aspect of your request.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Sincerely,

Freddie L. Hannah, Jr.

Mr. Hannah -

A couple of questions:

1) This listing appears to be from 2009. Is there a more recent listing, or have there been no changes to BHA development properties since this listing was developed?

2) The 11-page listing appears to be a printout of an electronic spreadsheet. Please provide an electronic copy of this spreadsheet or the document that contains it, rather than a printout.

Hi Shawn:

Just checking back in with you; I'm back in the office. You should have received the public housing addresses today. I also understand you received some additional information regarding our HUD inspections and had a conversation with Gail Livingston on Friday. Let me know if you have any further questions etc.
Best,

Lydia

Ms. Agro -

Please see the below two questions regarding released documents.

Best,
Shawn

Hi Shawn:

I've attached a more updated version of BHA public housing addresses in an Excel spreadsheet. Please note that this does not include addresses for some of our redeveloped properties (Mission Main, Orchard Gardens for example) which are privately managed and are not owned outright by the BHA. We do not update the address listing on a continual basis and I am providing you with the most recent version we do have. Because we do redevelop properties over time, there may be some addresses on this list that are not completely up to date (most likely for the Old Colony development which has construction currently ongoing). I apologize for taking so long to get back to you but it is taking some time for me to catch up with my work load.

I understand that while I was out of the office, you sent over some other questions and had conversations with staff. Can you please remind me what you are working on, and where and when it might appear?
Best,

Lydia
