Good morning.

I've received your request for public records regarding domestic violence reports for July of 2019 and 2020. It was requested in the email that if there are charges associated, that amount be reported prior to fulfilling the request. In July of 2020, for example, there are 88 domestic violence calls. I can't give you an exact amount due prior to starting the process of pulling all of the requested data for each report because I don't know exactly how long that will take. I'd imagine it'll take a few hours to complete both of the requested years. We charge $21 an hour for pulling and processing discovery.

If you'd like to move forward off this approximation, please let me know and I'll get started.

Hello Mr. Hunt,

Yes, I would like to proceed. Thank you for the update.

In order to process the payment, my organization requires a completed W9 for your agency as well as an invoice indicating the total fees. Are you able to send me those documents?

Thanks and much appreciated,
Colin Gerber

Good afternoon, Mr. Gerber.

I was able to access a more efficient means of pulling the requested data, so you're only being charged our cursory cost for public records requests. I've included in this email:

All Billings Police Department calls for July, 2019
All Billings Police Department PFMA calls for July, 2019
All Billings Police Department calls for July, 2020
All Billings Police Department PFMA calls for July, 2020
Disposition Code List
Invoicing

Within each call sheet, you'll find the Incident Number, the Date/Time of Call Creation, Date/Time of First Dispatch, Date/Time of First Arrive, Call Type, Call Priority, and Disposition for each incident. The Disposition Code List will give you a brief explanation of the associated dispositions. As for the average response times, I'll assume you've the means of determining that based off of what I've forwarded along. Finally, concerning the race/ethnicity of the victims and suspected persons, that I cannot provide.

If you've any further questions or requests, please feel free to contact me directly.

Thank you,
