Pursuant to the Pennsylvania Right to Know Act, I hereby request the following records:
Any and all records from January 1, 2019, to the date this request is processed, concerning election complaints forwarded to the county from the Pennsylvania Department of State. A spreadsheet obtained via a previous request to the department showed that in 2019, 1 election complaint was submitted to Berks County, related to a complaint about voter registration. Responsive documents would include investigations into this complaint and the findings of the elections office.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

Pursuant to Section 902 of the Act, we are currently reviewing your request, but will require an additional thirty (30) day period to respond based upon 65 P.S. § 67.902 (a) (4) and (7). We will respond as soon as possible during this thirty (30) day period with a response to your request, but no later than November 27, 2019

After an exhaustive and diligent search, we are unable to locate election complaint(s) forwarded to the County from the Pennsylvania Department of State from January 1, 2019 to the date of your request. Perhaps the complaint was sent to the District Attorney's Office, who has their own Open Records Officer.
