In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

To whom it may concern,
I'm writing to appeal the denial of a public records request for the following documents by the Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office:
I'm looking for documents concerning the three defendants charged in connection to the murder of Christine Ferreira: Shannelle Chisholm, Denzel Chisholm, and Tyrone Gomes. I've requested the following:
-Any and all transcripts and recordings (audio or video) of witness interviews by law enforcement officials
-Any and all transcripts and recordings (audio or video) of interviews with all three aforementioned suspects by law enforcement officials.
-All police reports of the arrests of the three aforementioned suspects
-The text of the indictments for all three suspects.
My understanding is that all except Denzel Chisholm have been arraigned in Superior Court, and at the very least, the police reports ought to be available by now. While the police reports were previously impounded, I believe the impoundment order expired on May 27, 2016. I'm asking the Secretary of State's office to consider ordering the release of the police reports, as well as the other material listed above. The documents would be made available to the public free of charge on MuckRock.com.
Thank you,
Caitlin Russell
