To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

- All reports or documents produced by the Bakersfield PD's Critical Incident Review Board as part of its reviews of police officer-involved shootings since 2004. Please include but do not limit this to the reviews in 2015 that cleared the officers who fatally shot Jason Alderman in August, Jeff Alexander in March, and Robert Burdge in March. Please include minutes of any meetings held by the board into shooting incidents during the period.

- Any documentation or investigative reports that were considered by the Critical Incident Review Board as part of its reviews of police officer-involved shooting incidents since 2004. Please include but do not limit this to police incident reports, autopsy reports, interview transcripts, statements and forensics reports.

- Any documentation describing the founding principles, rules and regulations of the Critical Incident Review Board. Please include but do not limit this to documents detailing the process for the appointment of members, the board's legal jurisdiction and investigative authorities, any protocols and standards against which the board should judge incidents involving BPD officers.

In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or DVD/CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.
