Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
1. Every use of force report made by Austin police officers since 2000.
2. Every civilian complaint filed against Austin police officers since 2000.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Or are you asking for every individual report and complaint? If you are looking for every report and complaint this may be a voluminous and labor intensive request. If you proceed with the request you may receive a substantial cost estimate so we are able to provide responsive information to the extent it exists. Please let me know how you would like to proceed. The request will not be processed until I hear back.
