Re: Open Record Request of February 07, 2019, Reference # R011798-020719
Dear Ms. Mackenzie Farkus,
The City of Austin received a Public Information request from you on February 07, 2019, to request copies of records pertaining to the following:
Mackenzie,
In order to process your request I need more information. Are you able to clarify what you are requesting? Are you requesting emails from all sworn employees? If so, is there a specific email that you are looking for or keywords we can search by? Or are you only interested in the emails between the Chiefs or any specific rank?  I need more information and clarification so I can send it to our technical support to have the emails pulled. To pull the entire departments emails without specifications would take a lot of time/labor to complete and result in a substantial cost estimate. That means you would not receive the responsive information for some time, like months, and you would have to pay a large sum of money. Please let me know how you would like to proceed I will not begin working on this request until I hear back.
Thanks

Hello,

Thanks for the response. To clarify my request, I would like emails from all sworn employees containing the keywords "Texas DPS audit," "DPS audit," "Department of Public Safety audit," and "rape kit audit" from Jan. 2016 to the present.

Let me know if you require further clarification.

Thanks,
Mackenzie Farkus
