Pursuant to the Colorado Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Compensation data for all employees of the Aurora, CO Police Department for the most recent year in which complete data are available (preferably 2020).
Specifically, I request that these data include, for each employee: Name, Job Title, Earnings (required), and age, gender, ethnicity, and hire date (if available).
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Hi Robert,
I just wanted to follow up on this. This request was originally submitted on 5/25 and the response indicated that processing time would be 8-12 weeks, and today makes 12 weeks.
We have collected this data for 93 of the largest 100 police and sheriff's departments in the country, and your agency is one of the last 7 we are waiting on.
Do you have any sense yet when this request might be completed?
