Pursuant to the North Carolina Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

Any and all records regarding the health of animals at the zoo, sent, received , or created between January 1, 2000 and January 1, 2020. This includes but is not limited to documents regarding illness, injury, zoologist examinations/visits, and death of all the animals housed in the zoo.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

The North Carolina Zoological Society is a private, non-profit corporation. We are not a state agency or a subdivision of any state agency. Therefore we do not maintain "public records" as defined by G.S. 132-1, and are generally not subject to public records laws.
