Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Records relating to disciplinary action against or investigation of Dr Robert Karas (license # E-4330) or Karas Correctional Health (#MC-3159) regarding prescription of prescription of ivermectin to inmates at the Washington County Jail.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

The Arkansas State Medical Board has an open investigation regarding Dr. Robert Karas and it is the policy of the Board not to comment on open investigations. Once the investigation is complete, the information will be provided to the full Board to review and to be discussed at the next scheduled Board Meeting. No additional information is available regarding an anticipated completion date of the investigation.
