MMR Vaccinations (Department of Education)

Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

We’d like to request data regarding Little Rock schools (public and private). Specifically:
• Overall MMR vaccination rate of Little Rock schools
• The number of children enrolled
• The number of schools
• The number of exemptions on file
• The number of students lacking a vaccination and an exemption (# of students not in compliance)

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hi - I'd like to get all schools in the Little Rock District. Also, does private school not have to report by law or is there a separate office by which private schools report?

Hi Taylor,
Thanks for this info. I was wondering if you could clarify some of this for me. After crunching the numbers it looks like there are 574 exemptions for the 2018-2019 school year, and 53,110 students. Meaning that the exemption rate is roughly 1.08%. Meaning compliance is close a little less than 99%. Are there no students that lack an exemption AND proper vaccinations? I'm looking for the number of students that are out of compliance with the law - no exemption and no record.
