To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

The number of equine fatalities that took place at Oaklawn Park during racing or training during the 2019 racing season, as well as any associated necropsy reports or accession sheets related to such fatalities. This information should be available through the racing commission.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

The following ten horses were euthanized at Oaklawn Park in 2019 as the result of training or racing injuries:

1. 1/27/19 "Blue Anchor", trainer R. Diodoro
2. 2/03/19 "Luna De Rojo", trainer D. Wayne Lukas
3. 2/13/19 "Vision", trainer Randy Morse
4. 2/16/19 "Could Be Game", trainer F. Dewaine Loy
5. 2/28/19 "Zuba Ziba", trainer Kellyn Gorder
6. 3/02/19 "Macer", trainer F. Dewaine Loy
7. 3/07/19 "My Mystery", trainer John Alexander Ortiz
8. 3/08/19 "Justlikesister Ray", trainer Michael Lauer
9. 3/24/19 " Magnolia Petal", trainer Lynn Chleborad
10. 4/04/19 "Bad Humor", trainer J. R. Caldwell

Prior to the meet, the horse "Thunder Bye" was euthanized. Documents related to "Thunder Bye" are also attached.

Attached are the drug test results from the Commission's official chemist, Truesdail Labs, for each of the horses. The Arkansas Racing Commission has no additional
responsive documents regarding these fatalities. Thank you.
