Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:
-all communications, including emails, attachments and text messages between ADOT, including the DMV, and the company Clearview AI (https://www.clearview.ai/) from January 1, 2019 and the time this request is published.
-all communications including the terms "facial recognition" from January 1, 2019 and the time this request is published
-all communications including the terms "clearview" from January 1, 2019 and the time this request is published
I am an independent journalist working on an investigation for Vice Motherboard.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

In the initial process, we've determined that a search of the term "facial
recognition" may return a number of items that aren't associated with
Clearview AI and may take a considerable amount of time to provide. Is
there a way that you could more narrowly define the scope of that search?
Please advise.
